This site will allow you to extract your codes from the Google Authenticator App, so you can have a backup copy, regenerate the QR Codes to be scanned, or manually import the text secrets into a different TOTP Authenticator.

Why would you want to do this? There are some of the TOTP Autenthication Apps that will log some of your personal information and send it to servers up in the cloud. Google is actually one of the better Apps that doesn't appear to send much data to the cloud, but the Microsoft Authenticator App sends a bunch of data, even if you choose not to share in their App. Exactly why they capture it and what they do with this information is uncertain, but there has been documented proof that some of the less known apps have sent copies of the 2FA secrets, and other information from their apps, disguised as Analytical data.

To use this site, you will need to Export accounts from your Google Authenticator. This will create QR codes that usually would be scanned by the Google Authenticator App on a different device. You will not be doing that. You just need to scan over the QR code with your camera, and this should reveal a URL. You need to capture that URL and paste it into the field below.

The URL should look something similar to "otpauth-migration://offline?data="

On the results page that will follow, you can simply Select-All, then cut and paste the output to a local file on your device.

The HASH that you will see for each Secret on the results page can be manually entered into different Authenticator Apps that will provide the same functionality as the Google Authenticator App.

Paste the URL from your Google Authenticator Export into the field and click "Text Codes" to get a list of the Text Secrets, or "QR Codes" to create codes to be scanned into the Authenticator App.
